Meet the Dentists Behind R+R Dental
Dr. Michael Richer and Dr. Nadia Rivera opened R+R Dental together in 2009. Both completed general practice residency training at Montefiore Medical Center and continue their education in modern dental care.
Dr. Michael Richer
A Farmingdale native, Dr. Richer earned his DDS at the University of Toronto. His continuing education includes cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, and CEREC digital dentistry, which can make a same-day crown possible for suitable teeth.
Dr. Nadia Rivera
Dr. Rivera earned her DMD at the University of Puerto Rico and provides family and cosmetic dental care. She speaks English and Spanish, so Spanish-speaking patients can discuss their concerns and treatment options in the language they prefer.
Dr. Rebecca Vaglica and Dr. Kiran Sharma also care for patients at R+R Dental.

Using Dental Insurance
R+R Dental accepts major PPO plans. Call with your exact plan name so we can help check network participation and benefits. Coverage and your share of the cost depend on your plan. We do not accept HMO plans or Medicaid.
No Dental Insurance
Our In-House Savings Plan is $455 for 12 months and is also available to patients with out-of-network plans. Benefits include:
- Two cleanings, plus included exams and preventive services.
- Radiographs, excluding CT scans.
- 20% off minor and major procedures.

Can I find out the cost of cosmetic or implant treatment first?
Call to ask about the cost of the initial visit. A treatment estimate depends on the exam, the teeth involved, and the work needed. During your consultation, ask us to review the options, expected costs, and number of visits before you decide.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring your photo ID, insurance information if you have coverage, a payment method, and a list of medications and relevant medical history. Bring your questions too, including anything you want us to explain about your teeth or treatment.
